P.A.L.S Cup 2011
The PALS cup (Presentation Amateur Ladies Soccer) was started three years ago as a fun soccer tournament for senior students...it wasn't!! The skill level and competative nature of all involved saw it quickly established as a much sought after trophy. Each year a new cup is commissioned for the winning team....a cup that is not rivalled in any other tournament in the world!!!
It is now time to launch this seasons competition. Teams of seven are required with an entry fee of €5 per team. Games are six minutes a side with five players on the pitch at any time for each team. You must decide on a team name (appropriate), team colour/jersey (appropriate too.....the referee might award a goal to the opposition if the jersey is not worthy of wearing....) and the draw for each group will be made once all entries have been received.
Closing date for entries........Monday 28th November at 4pm
Entry forms available from the notice board outside the gym. Open to Fourth/Fifth and Sixth year students only. Maximum team of seven, minimum five. Names of players, team, jersey/colour and entry fee to Ms. V. Redmond by closing date!
