European Day of Languages 26th of September 2011
This is a day to promote the learning of languages. So let's speak and don't be shy!
In Presentation Wexford, a few initiatives are taking place and we will have a week long celebration:
On Monday, 26th, at lunch time a quiz open to all classes (in room 7) no language knowledge required to take part. Teams of 3 maximum. Also, can you figure out what was the question we asked the teachers? Look the stickers they will wear to see what they answered.
On Tuesday, 27th, at lunchtime, language orienteering competition organised by some TY students for 1st and 6th years. Teams of 3, register before Thursday 22nd outside room 7.
On Wednesday, 28th, at lunchtime, language orienteering competition organised by some TY students for 2nd and 3rd years. Teams of 3, register before Thursday 22nd outside room 7.
On Thursday, 29th, at lunchtime, language orienteering competition organised by some TY students for TY and 5th years. Teams of 3, register before Thursday 22nd outside room 7.
On Friday, 30th at lunchtime, European dress up competition - change and dress up into one of 4 countries/languages: Irish, French, Spanish or German.
Students are also encourage to enter the national competition (http://www.leargas.ie/programme_news.php?prog_code=7050&item_code=6410).
